This is the year to review your current website and make sure it’s up to date. Here are a few items you want to consider:
- Does your Home page have the most important and valuable information about your business? That’s the page most visitors land on first so make sure it is correct, explains your business in a clear concise manner, and has links for people to get to your other pages
- Check that the copyright is current – that’s an indicator that you are regularly updating your website
- Is your About page correct? Does your team need to be updated? Is your bio up to date? Are you telling your company story authentically?
- Have links to your social media
- Be sure the site is well-optimized with detailed title tags, descriptions for Google, alt tags, and in general, well-written content.
- Make sure your Contact page has a way to reach you and the correct address.
